The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives. (Deuteronomy 14:23)

 

God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.  (2 Corinthians 9:8)

 

So honor the Lord by giving Him the first part of all your income.  (Proverbs 3:9)

 

The person who gives both their tithes and their offerings will experience the multitude of blessings upon their lives, not only financially - but spiritually, physically, emotionally.  The whole person is blessed who trusts completely in the Lord.
